On November 17th, the Executive Committee for the Guangdong Division of China's 15th National Games held a press conference at the Games' main press center in Guangzhou. The event focused on promoting the unique sports characteristics of five cities: Shenzhen, Shanwei, Dongguan, Jieyang, and Yunfu. Over 40 foreign journalists attended the press conference.

Allegra De Rachelia Maposso, Head of the Congolese News Agency Office, spoke highly of China's efforts to promote its traditional sports, citing the active participation of youth—from a young lion dance troupe to children's dance performances.
